Mission Statement

The mission of Finance and Operations is to provide quality administrative, operational services, and modern and clean facilities in support of the teaching, learning, research, and outreach mission of UMD.

We intend to anticipate and respond to campus needs in a timely manner with a focus on customer service, quality, and efficiency.

As a unit, we recognize our goals and objectives are achieved by recruiting, developing, and retaining a productive staff that balances the needs of employees and work units. We strive to facilitate the personal growth and education of students through their participation in residential life and the work experiences that are available through individual departments.
