Russian Language Program

UMD/St.Scholastica

Beginning Russian is a great class to take to introduce yourself to the fun and interesting aspects of the Russian language and culture! This class focuses on becoming a proficient Russian speaker and centers around successful communication. As an entry level course, Beginning Russian covers the basics needed for everyday interactions. You will learn the necessary vocabulary and grammar, and you will also be introduced to the Cyrillic alphabet!

Students interested in taking Beginning Russian may do so through Continuing Education in the late afternoon at UMD. Students wishing to register for Intermediate Russian may do so at the College of St. Scholastica. If you are interested in the Russian program and have further questions, please contact Professor Dan Nolan (166 KPL) by phone at 726-6213 or by email at dnolan@d.umn.edu.
