To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, we are preparing several events for Berlin Wall Week (November 3 - 9)
November 3: Research Poster presentation
November 5: Art project - decorating blocks of the wall
November 9: Film and celebration. Red Herring Lounge. We're showing Good Bye Lenin! and then we're having a 1989 dance party. There will also be information about the wall and the fall of the wall.
The department offers majors and minors for the B.A. degree in French Studies, German Studies, Cultural Entrepreneurship, Chinese Area Studies, Latin American Area Studies, and Hispanic Studies.
Students admitted previously can still complete the B.A.A. teaching degree in French, German, and/or Spanish. The Department also offers various minor programs, including the freestanding Russian Area Studies Minor. Students are encouraged to visit the individual program pages for more information.
