UMD Plaza Food Court and Northern Shores Coffee Shop Gift Card

Beginning August 27, 2007, at 8:00 a.m., you may add value to your gift card online with a credit card. Simply go to  https://ibex.d.umn.edu/biz/ucard/gift_card.html and follow the link for gift cards. UMD Plaza Food Court and Northern Shores Coffee Shop gift cards work like a debit card. The value you add to your gift card is stored online. All online gift card transactions are processed by 4:30 p.m. each business day, Monday through Friday.  Please keep in mind, any entries made after 4:30 p.m. each week day will be posted by 4:30 p.m. the following business day. Staff and faculty can add money at any time!  So many great places to use your gift card on the UMD Campus! Your money! Your choice!

To participate in the online gift card program, you will need to have a UMD Plaza Food Court or Northern Shores Coffee Shop gift card. You may make your initial gift card purchase at the following locations: UMD Plaza Food Court, Northern Shores Coffee Shop, Center Court Grill, or the U Card Office. The initial gift card you purchase begins with a value of $10.00. Then, the next time you want to add value, simply visit the UMD Food Service Website and follow the gift card link.  You may view the updated weekly food menus at any time for each food location on the UMD Food Service Homepage.

Bring your UMD Plaza Food Court Gift Card or Northern Shores Coffee Shop Gift Card to any of the above locations, order the food you want, and give the card to the cashier. The dollar amount will be deducted from your card. There is sales tax charged for food purchases. When you replenish your Gift Card with ten dollars or more, you will receive a 10% bonus. Best of all, your Gift Card never expires!
