Dining Dollars works like a debit card. The value you add to your U Card is stored online. If you lose your U Card, your Dining Dollars are not lost. It is the safest and most convenient way for all students living on or, off campus! You may add money at any time to your U Card, for Dining Dollar purchases. Just stop by our U Card & Dining Dollars Office, located in 127 Kirby Plaza or, simply, click on our new Web site address <https://ibex.d.umn.edu/biz/ucard/ > and purchase your Dining Dollars online with a credit card. All online Dining Dollar Web transactions are processed by 4:30 p.m. each business day, Monday through Friday. Please keep in mind, any entries made after 4:30 p.m. each week day will be posted by 4:30 p.m. the following business day. Parents can add money at any time!

Simply, present your U Card to the cashier for payment. The cashier will deduct the cost of your purchase from your Dining Dollar’s account. All food purchases made with your U Card are tax-free!

UMD Food Service has added a $60 Flex Dine (Dining Dollars) amount to your U Card for you to use each semester. Any unused Dining Dollar’s from the Fall Semester will carry forward to your Spring Semester Dining Dollar account. You can add additional money to your account at < https://ibex.d.umn.edu/biz/ucard/ > and purchase your Dining Dollars online with a credit card. All online Dining Dollar Web transactions are processed by 4:30 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday. For Students Who Live Off-Campus

You may also enjoy the tax free meal purchases by opening a Dining Dollars account. To initiate your account, just stop by the U Card Office. Show your valid Identification Card/U Card and make an initial deposit. Any unused Dining Dollars from Fall Semester will carry forward to your Spring Semester Dining Dollars account.
