Parent Schedule

Workshops for Parents and Families are specified programs that we offer on Thursday, August 28 that pertain to the questions and concerns of parent and families. The Parent and Family Welcome & Program at 4:00 will be a general meeting lead by Vince Repesh, during this time he will be able to address your questions and concerns.

Rock Groups consist of approximately 15-18 new freshman students lead by an upperclassman. These are for students only. Students who are on campus on Thursday will attend their Rock Group meeting at 4:00. All new students will attend on Friday at 11:00. Although you may want to stay with your student during this time, please know that these are for the new students only. This will be important time for the new students to begin making connections with their new classmates.

Workshops on Saturday and Monday are one-hour classes for new students that will teach them about UMD, the surrounding community, and subjects pertaining to their individual interests. Students will be allowed to register for workshops of their choice in early August. Students need to check their email regularly for updates and information.
