Welcome to UMD!
The First Year Experience & Students in Transition (FYE & SIT) office provides many programs and services
designed to help first year students with their transition into the UMD
community. We work with students to help them achieve academic, social and personal success.
Advisement & Registration, Bulldog Welcome Week, the SSP 1000: Introduction to College Learning course, ongoing student assistance,
and a newsletter series are just a few of the services that we provide.
