On-Campus Housing

New students wishing to live in on-campus residence halls and apartments for the 2009-2010 academic year should complete a return the Housing Application & Contract before May 1, 2009.

This Application & Contract will be available for you to access online, print off, complete and return to the Housing & Residence Life office. The online access will be available within 24 hours after you confirm for an
Advisement & Registration date.

Approximately 24 hours after you have confirmed for an Advisement & Registration date, you are able to access the Housing Application/Contract by clicking http://www.d.umn.edu/housing/newstuapp.htm.

The Application & Contract allows students to indicate their preference for a housing assignment and, if applicable, for a meal plan.

Students submitting an Application & Contract on or before the priority date will be assigned housing based on their original date of application to UMD. Students submitting the Application & Contract after the priority date will be assigned housing based on the availability of space and the date the Application & Contract was received by UMD.
