GIS and Geology

GIS technology provides support and answers for resource exploration companies. Data can be displayed spatially to improve visualization and analysis. GIS and GPS technology have also proven critical in geologic mapping, an increasingly important attribute in a world of decreasing resources. The oil, gas and exploration industries rely heavily on geographic technology.
