You are welcome to join our GeologyJobs e-mail list used to send out notices of recent job openings we receive from companies, government agencies, and other organizations. Alumni contacts

Please contact the Department (geol@d.umn.edu) for a list of alumni who are willing to be a source of information to you about careers in geology. They are willing to talk to you about the industry, answer questions you may have, give you general job information about different fields, and pass along employment opportunities they may know about.

Recommendation forms

Students and alumni requesting letters of recommendation from Department faculty should complete a Reference Request and Authorization Form. These forms comply with University guidelines for release of academic information. A completed form should be provided to each faculty member asked to provide a letter of reference. You can download the form here, enter your personal data, and print, however you may not be able to save your changes to the form. Please note that the completed form must be signed before it is valid.
