2008 - 2009 Fellow Teacher Teams

In our second year of the Graduate Fellows in K-12 Education program, our fellows are involved in a wide variety of classroom and special projects, each building on their strengths. Some have developed lots of lesson plans, some have brought thier research into the classroom with weekly updates on what they are doing and how thier research is going.

Here, three of our fellows are inspecting UMD's new scanning electron microscope. They include Shelby Frost (Geology 2009-10 fellow), Greg Rohde (far right, Chemistry 2008-09 fellow) and Dan Costello (front, Geology 2008-09 fellow).
