Historic places tell us who we are and where we have been. They connect us to our past and give us inspiration. We have a responsibility to preserve Glensheen and the stories it tells us for generations to come, but maintaining a historic estate and developing programs to share it with the public is expensive.

A Tudor rose is a stylized five-petal rose with a smaller rose in its center and became the royal emblem of the ruling Tudor family of England in 1485. At Glensheen, the motif can be found in the leaded glass on the main stair landing and in other places.
