Thanks to the generosity of our donors and advisory council members, Glensheen is now offering a school bus scholarship to area schools. We hope this makes Glensheen accessible to students, allowing them to truly experience their community’s rich history.

Curriculum-based School Programs
Plans are being made to expand our educational offerings to include on-site and off-site school programs designed to support the curriculum teachers are teaching. If you have suggestions for these programs, or if you would like to be involved in the process of planning and developing these new programs, please call 218-726-8910.
The main staircase leading to Glensheen’s second floor features an intricate carved design of interlaced strapwork, characteristic of carving in 16th- and 17th-century England.
