Bridging Campus and Community, Continuing Education Credits

American Medical Association / PRA
The University of Minnesota is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Minnesota designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Nursing Credentialing Center
The University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Office of Practice, Partnerships and Professional Development, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity is awarded 13.75 contact hours.

American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA)
AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 13.75 hours of Category I credit for completing this program.

Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
CHES application has been submitted. Determination of credits is pending.

Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC)
LPC application has been submitted to the Mn Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Determination of credits is pending.

Mn Board of Social Work (BOSW)
This activity has been approved by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work for 13.75 continuing education hours.

Other Health Care Professionals
Nurse practitioners, nurses, and other health care professionals who participate in this CME activity
may submit their Statements of Attendance to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state
boards for consideration of credit.
