Who Can Be Seen At Health ServicesAll students are eligible to use Health Services. The student service fee covers office visits for students taking six or more credits. Some services such as x-rays, lab tests, minor surgery, some special procedures, and medications are chargeable. Many insurance plans can be billed for these services. Students taking less than six credits are eligible to use Health Services by paying a one-time-per-semester fee. Non-UMD Students (Students from the College of St. Scholastica, University of Wisconsin - Superior, Duluth Business University, Lake Superior College, and the University of Minnesota) Non-UMD students are eligible to use Health Services, however, charges apply for services rendered. Non-UMD students can have their charges billed to insurance.
