UMD Health Services: Allergy Injections

Many students need regular injections for allergies. While UMD Health Services does not conduct allergy testing, we will store, without liability, a student's current vial of allergy serum and administer the injections. Students must provide their allergist's written instructions along with the serum. The instructions should include:

the dosage schedule
identification information such as the patient's name & vial number
the allergist's name, address & phone number

Health Services provides allergy injections only while a physician is on duty and requires a 30 minute wait-time following all allergy injections. The charge for this service is $10 for the first injection and $5 for each additional injection.
