The Sexual Health Educators (S/HE) provide presentations on healthy relationships and sexual health to classrooms and housing units on campus. If you are interested in a presentation, please email the group at: hs_peered@d.umn.edu, or contact the S/HE advisor, Dori Decker, at ddecker@d.umn.edu.
Is S/HE a good fit for you?
We are looking for students who have an interest in learning about a wide spectrum of relationship and sexual health topics and sharing that information with other students in various ways.
The main topics the sexual health group covers includes:

- Consent
S/HE Training

Choosing a Contraceptive, What to know:
If you are interested in using a birth control method, it is important to meet with a health care provider who can facilitate the processs with you based on your medical history and sexual health lifestyle. If you are interested in researching various methods of birth control to better understand your options, the following websites may be helpful:
Bedsider.org: This site's intended
audience is teens and young adults. It is a very interactive site with fact
sheets, videos with real patients, options for
reminders (daily/weekly/90 days) and also fun features such as
frisky Friday announcements. http://bedsider.org/
Method Match:
This is a site created by the Association of Reproductive Health
Professionals. There are aq series of questions you answer that will guide you to
particular methods.
