UMD Honors Program

Requirements for good standing within the program:

1. Cumulative GPA of 3.3 at graduation
2. Completion of 3 Honors (Hons) designated courses
3. Complete and presentation of Honors Capstone Project
4. Participation in Honors Program activities, such as Meet the Professional, Honors Student Association activities, field trips, and social events. Students should aim at participating in a minimum of 6 such events each academic year.

Honors students will receive a notice each year from the Program Director indicating their progress toward completion of program requirements.
