UMD: Honors Program

What's Inside

	Howard Mooers is Professor of Geological Sciences, Director of the Marshall Alworth Planetarium and also Director of the Honors Program at UMD. Howard took over the position of director in September 2009. In his spare time, Howard travels the globe, gazes at the stars from his at-home observatory, and cooks gourmet meals for his ungrateful children.
	Jessica Saxton is Coordinator for the Honors Program, and began working at UMD in October 2009. Her interests include biking, reading and attempting to keep up with her ridiculously energetic children. Jessica knows more than anybody rightfully should about 80s pop music and her secret ambition is to be telekinetic. Her office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am to 1pm.
