New Student Housing Application Process

UMD Housing application-contracts will be available on-line for admitted students after they have confirmed attending an academic orientation session.

Students who return a housing application-contract postmarked on or before May 1, 2008, will be reserved and assigned a space in University housing based on the date of application for admission to UMD and the availability of space.

  • Co-educational by floor or by wing

  • Connected by concourse to campus
  • Study lounges

  • Free laundry facilities for residents
  • Basic cable TV service
  • Ethernet computer connection for each resident;
