New Student Housing Application Process
UMD Housing application-contracts will be available on-line for
admitted students after they have confirmed attending an academic orientation
session.
Students who return a housing application-contract postmarked
on or before May 1, 2008, will be reserved and assigned a space in University
housing based on the date of application for admission to UMD and the availability
of space.

Mail Service
|
Residents who subscribe to magazines/journals should notify the
appropriate publishers of a change of address at least six weeks
prior to the change.
First class mail will be forwarded for 90 days; magazines are forwarded
for three weeks.

Postage stamps are available in Kirby Student Center and from the UMD
Bookstore. Residents receiving packages will have a package notice placed
in their mailbox and may pick up their package the next day. Each resident
will receive a mailbox key at the time of check in. Mailboxes are located
in each residential living area.
