Housing application-contracts are available on-line to admitted incoming students who have scheduled an advisement/registration date. Go above to "Application Process" then "New Student". Students who return a housing application-contract postmarked on or before May 1, 2012 will be reserved and assigned a space in University housing based on the date of application for admission to UMD and the availability of space. Some first year students may be assigned to on-campus apartments or temporary rooms.

Students who return housing application-contracts after May 1, 2012 will be reserved and assigned space based on the date the housing application-contract is received by the Housing Office and the availability of space. The University cannot guarantee University housing for students who submit housing application-contracs after May 1, 2012.
