Program Mission
The mission of the Athletic Training Education Program at the University of Minnesota Duluth is to provide dedicated, effective undergraduate teaching, scholarship, and service to our students preparing to be health care providers for life and sport to benefit the people of the state of Minnesota, the nation, and the world. Students in the Athletic Training Education Program are offered a curriculum of didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences which emphasize a “hands on” learning approach. The Athletic Training Education Program is committed to providing students with educational, clinical, and professional growth opportunities that will help prepare them for The Board of Certification (BOC) examination, and entry into the Athletic Training profession.
