Prospective Students
The Athletic Training Education Program at the University of Minnesota Duluth prepares the graduate to pass the Board of Certification exam.
Most of our students go on to graduate school for a Masters Degree where they will work as an athletic trainer at the university in exchange for a tuition waiver, room and board, and a stipend.
Some of our graduates have become physical therapists, physician assistants, chiropractors, occupation therapists, teachers, medical sales, and of course athletic trainers. Athletic trainers can work in a variety of settings including, but not limited to: professional sports, colleges and universities, high schools, physical therapy clinics, hospitals, corporations, and international and Olympic sports.
