Call for Proposals: Creating an Inclusive Curriculum!!!!
Applications are now being accepted for the faculty cohort program on Creating an Inclusive Curriculum, held January 15-17, 2013. This program will engage faculty in significant course design or redesign by participating in a multidisciplinary cohort of their peers. Learning it Forward: Taking responsibility for the Future is a new program for the fall that will provide a"Sustainable Community of Scholars" designed to help faculty successfully embed issues of sustainability into their coursework. The group will have continued conversations about "creating a curriculum of consequence" that can change students' views sutainable solutions to the problems andtasks that ace us all in the 21st century.

Midcareer Program
IDS welcomes Cindy Spillers, Ph.D., as its first, ever faculty fellow for the 2012-13 academic year. She brings a strong desire to explore re-energizing the “vast prairie of time between tenure and retirement” with other mid-career faculty members and is facilitating a five-session, Mid-Career Faculty Group on five Wednesdays this Semester.IDS Newsletter Spring 2012
