Accepted Incoming Students

If you have already been approved by your home university to study abroad at the University of Minnesota Duluth, congratulations! The International Education Office welcomes you to an exchange/study abroad at UMD.

The next step is to complete and return all the necessary forms to our office. These forms will start the process for obtaining a student visa, registering for courses at UMD, etc. In the meantime, feel free to explore the other sections to learn more about UMD, Duluth and planned activities for exchange/study abroad students.

Listed forms need to be completed and returned to the International Education Office. Instructions and information on the forms is given and should be followed.

Based on interest and other conditions, the International Education Office may arrange trips to regional locations, such as Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and Chicago, Illinois.
