Incoming Exchange Students
Know the following program information, which you will provide on the online application:
Early application is strongly encouraged, as space is limited and the program will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Complete applications include an essay and unofficial transcript. A non-refundable application fee of $50 will be billed to your student account upon submission of an online application.
Explore Montpellier, located in the south of France on the Mediterranean Sea. The city is vibrant, with a college-town atmosphere and student-centered community. Its foundations were laid during the turbulent Middle Ages and its rulers played majors roles in the war of religions.
Participate in several excursions within the region. All excursions are accompanied by an on-site guide. Excursion destinations include the medieval walled city of Aigues-Mortes and the natural caves and cheese production in Mont Combalou in Roquefort.
Earn 6 credits in FORS 3178, FR 3040: French Language and Culture in Montpellier, France. Course components include:
Participants MUST have a passport, valid for at least six months after their return to the United States.
A non-refundable application fee of $50 will be billed to your student account upon submission of an online application. A deposit of $400 will be billed to your student account upon your confirmation of participation. The remainder of the program fee will be billed through Student Accounts Receivable.
