In addition to the hundreds of study abroad opportunities provided by UMD and other UM campuses, thousands of other study abroad experiences are available. Explore these programs through the various links provided here. Do be aware that most UMD and UM study abroad scholarships apply only to our own sponsored programs and will not apply to these outside programs. In addition, we have not certified the academic quality of these other programs so receiving UMD course equivalencies will be more difficult than when studying on a sponsored program.

All UMD students studying abroad register for courses through our office whether studying at UMD, UM, or other study abroad programs so contact us as early in the process as possible so we can help guide you on your way.
