- Linda is the Director of the Information Technology Systems and Services Department at UMD. She has overall responsibility for the direction and delivery of computing, network, telecommunications, and classroom technology services for the campus.
- Sally Bradt - Manager of Desktop Support, Security and Web Development

- Sally is the manager of our desktop support services, including computer maintenance, desktop assessments and security, and Novell and Windows server support. She manages technology security incidents that are reported for the campus for students, faculty and staff. She also manages our web development services for both the ITSS web site and other departments on campus. She is the sponsor of our desktop, web and security teams, and as a member of the management team provides cross-functional documentation management for ITSS.

- Dan is the manager of our central systems, network, and telecommunications services, and supervises the staff who work in these areas. Dan shares cross-functional responsibility for system and network security with Sally.
- Jason Davis - Manager of Classroom Technology and Customer Service

- Jason is the manager of our classroom technology services, along with our interactive television (ITV) and audio-visual services. He also manages our HelpDesk and data entry services, and he supervises the staff who work in all of these areas. Jason is the sponsor of the Student Computing Team. He leads the Assistive Technology Team. He both sponsors and leads the Classroom Technology Team and the Customer Service Team. Jason is also responsible for Human Resource issues and maintains our staff handbook.

- Steve manages our campus administrative computing applications and systems, faculty learning technology support, department financial and budget operations, and he supervises the staff which provides support for these services. As a member of our Management Team, he provides important status information on these areas to facilitate planning and control activities. He is the sponsor of our accounting and billing process team, enterprise programming team and the ITSS training team.
- Gordee Bennett - Technology Support Professional

- Gordee provides programming and administrative support for our database of student computing users, ensuring that students have access to the campus computing facilities and services for which they are authorized. She works with administrators and faculty to create and maintain e-mail aliases to facilitate communication between faculty and their students and among various other campus administrative groups. Gordee is leader of our Student Computing Team and also provides backup support for our test scoring systems.

- Tim provides systems administrator support for our central Novell and Windows servers, data storage and backup, and network printing. He provides advanced consulting support for Windows users and other customer-owned computing systems and servers.
- Spring Billiar - Data Entry Coordinator

- Spring provides data entry, test scoring, and quarterly student evaluation processing services for the UMD campus. Additionally, She works with our Accounting Team and with central system administrators to open and close customer accounts on our central systems, helping to maintain proper access to these systems for authorized users.

- Chuck has primary responsibility for the design, planning, and general coordination of the UMD telephone system and infrastructure. As leader of our Phone and Network Team, he also coordinates the project work done by team members in these areas.

- Rick is the computer lab coordinator for PC teaching and partnership labs and Sunray labs. He is the team leader for the Student Computing Team, and is also a member of the Training Team, teaching DreamWeaver classes. Rick is also a member of the Student Supervision Team and the Desktop Support Team.

- Laura supports faculty and others in their use of classroom technology by providing detailed classroom equipment operation documentation on our web pages. As a member of our Training Team, she leads several eClass online sessions and produces the web pages to help us promote and coordinate all ITSS workshops and training. She is also a member of the Web Team and manages the Web Design Reference site.

- Wendy provides project management, programming and consulting support for Facilities Management, Continuing Education and other campus departments and staff who request application software support, desktop support, and data reporting from campus administrative systems and enterprise systems.

- Dan coordinates the installation, upgrade, and repair of desktop computers and printers for campus personnel and for our student and instructional computing labs. As a member of our Student Computing Team, he provides important advice regarding the planning and scheduling of major lab equipment upgrades. As leader of the Desktop Support team, he provides guidance on issues concerning desktop reliability and security.

- Jan provides support for our Novell office and lab servers which provide software and printing services to the campus. As an important part of his support for the lab server, Jan configures the software on the lab computers to make applications software reliable and easy to access. He also provides consulting and software installation support to customers of Novell and other network applications services.

He provides system administrator services for the file servers which deliver software to our Macintosh computer labs. He is also the editor of the monthly ITSS newsletter "infotech.News.".

- Karl has primary responsibility for design, installation, and maintenance of all audio-visual facilities operated by our department. This includes the AV equipment checkout service, the campus closed circuit TV system, the interactive television facilities, and AV technology in general purpose classrooms. As a member of our Classroom Technology Team, Karl's ideas and efforts are vital to the successful implementation of classroom technology improvements.

Sarah manages the students in all three areas and coordinates day-to-day work for all three processes. She is the leader of our HelpDesk Team.

- Karlyne handles all of the paperwork associated with the purchasing of equipment and supplies for all areas within our department. As a member of the Accounting Team she is responsible for entering the monthly billing information for staff services provided to our customers. She prepares employment and payroll documents for our many student employees.
