MonH 108 equipment cabinet key may be requested by departments or by faculty teaching in this room.
Classroom keys and building master keys do not open these locks. Departments with faculty or staff needing access to the AV /computer equipment may want to have a key in their department office available for checkout. Or faculty and staff who make frequent use of classroom equipment may want to request a key for their personal use. In either case, a key request card must be completed, signed by the Dean or Department Head, and delivered to Facilities Management Key Shop. "AV Cabinets" must be printed at the top of the card to specify that the requested key is for the equipment cabinet and not for the room itself. A separate key request card for the room must be completed to obtain a room key.
The large cabinet in the front left corner of the room contains operating controls and other equipment. Use the MonH 108 equipment cabinet key to unlock and open the cabinet doors.

The cabinet power switch is on the the right side of the cabinet on the silver panel below the light dimmer switches and screen switches.
Raise the switch to the up position.
The audio amplifier is located on the top shelf on the left hand side of the cabinet. It is normally left on, and a small green light on the front of the amplifier indicates when it is on. If the green light is not on, press the power button on the amplifier.
The wireless tuner is in the equipment cabinet. Turn on the wireless tuner power button. It will light green when it is on.
Take it out of the cabinet and place it on you in the position you prefer for your presentation.
Turn on it's power button.
If the volume is not correct, check and adjust the dial on the amplifier labeled Wireless Mic .
The dial on the amplifier labeled Master adjusts the overall volume level of all devices connected to the room audio system (the VCR, computers, and the microphones). Adjust the Master dial up or down as necessary, but be aware that this also adjusts the volume for the other devices mentioned. It is best to adjust the Wireless Mic volume using the Wireless Mic dial rather than Master .
Set all level controls you will NOT be using to minimum so you do not experience audio feedback.
Return it to the top left shelf of the cabinet.
Lower the cabinet power switch to the down position.
Close and lock the cabinet doors using the MonH 108 equipment cabinet key.

Please double check to make sure that these doors are locked.
