Policy: Instructional Technology Checkout
General Rules
- Some reservations may require permission from advisor or faculty.
- Advance reservations are recommended. Equipment is scheduled on a first
come, first served basis.
- Reservations should be made only for the actual time period that the equipment
is to be used. Extended reservations may be allowed if demand is low and
equipment is available.
- Late returns negatively impact customers scheduled to use the equipment
next. Offenders may be denied future reservation requests.
- Customers with overdue equipment will be contacted by ITSS staff. The faculty/staff
member who signed for a student will also be informed of overdue equipment.
When equipment is significantly overdue or missing, a police report is filed.
- The borrower is responsible for the safety of the equipment. Equipment
must not be left unattended in an unsecured area.
- Borrowed equipment cannot be transferred to another party.
- ITSS is not liable
for loss of or damage to any personal software or media used with our equipment.
