SRS: TurningPoint and WebVista
There are five basic things faculty will need to do to use TurningPoint and WebVista together:
- Request and acquire a WebVista account for each class you are teaching, if you haven't already done so.
- Create a clicker "Power" registration link for your students.
- Send a note to your class and ask them to log in to Web Vista and register their clickers, like this sample.
- Acquire your student / clicker ID participant files from WebVista. Do this after your students have all registered their clickers.
- Upload session data from your class sessions into WebVista.
Note: If you go to the "student view" in WebVista, you can see how it will look to them. Once all of your students have registered their clickers you can download the participant list into your laptop and begin saving and associating clicker use data in your classes.

Subject: MATH 1012 Register your Clicker By Friday
This course requires you to bring a TurningPoint "clicker" to every class session. In order to get credit for class participation, you need to:
- Register your clicker through WebVista by Friday, January 25, 2008.
- Bring your clicker to every class and answer presentation questions with it.
To Register your clicker:
- Log in to my WebVista course site by following this link: <put your course link here>
- Click on the "register your clicker" icon.
3. Your "Response Device ID" is the large 6-digit number just under the barcode on the back of your clicker. There are often zeroes in this ID, but never the letter "O". An example code might be: 048C65
Make sure you get your clicker registered in WebVista by Friday so that you can get credit for class participation beginning Monday.
