SRS: Uploading TurningPoint session data to WebVista
If you have used a class list during your clicker session, you can upload the TurningPoint data to the WebVista grade book. To do this:
1. Open TurningPoint/PowerPoint and select the TurningPoint 2008 ribbon.
2. Select WebCT wizards > Campus Edition 6 / Vista 3, 4 from the Tools menu.
3. Select Export Student Data to the WebCT Gradebook/Email Student reports from the new window.
4. For courses on
- WebVista 3 enter
https://vista.umn.edu in the Server Name (IP) field. - WebVista 4 enter
https://www1.webvista.umn.edu in the Server Name (IP) field.
- User name for both WebVista 3 and 4 is your x.500 username.
- Password for both WebVista 3 and 4 is your WebDAV password.
- Set your WebDAV password
Example:
5. Select University of Minnesota from the next screen and click the Next button.
6. Put a check box by the section for which you would like to upload the clicker session data and click the Next button.

7. Select the session data file that you would like to upload from your machine and click the Next button.

8. Enter the name you would like to give the column in the WebVista gradebook and a maximum point value (optional) for the column. The session data will be imported into the WebVista gradebook as a grade column and in numerical format.

9. Once the upload is complete TurningPoint will display a confirmation message.
10. Finally, confirm that the column was created and the data entered into your WebVista course Gradebook.
