Sorry, we needed to move your inbox to a saved mailbox. If our inboxes grow too large they can affect the performance of our email system. Your inbox has been moved to a mailbox named something like mbox.20101201 (the numbers indicate the date your inbox was moved).
If you don't see your moved inbox along with your other mailboxes, quit your email program and restart it. Your moved inbox should appear along with your other mailboxes.
Here's the quickest way to restore your moved messages back to your inbox:
Of course, your inbox will be moved again the next night if you don't move or delete the messages with large attachments.
To find and delete large messages:
| Thunderbird Sorting messages by size You can add a Size column by clicking the upper right corner of your window. ![]() |
|---|
| Apple Mail Sorting messages by size You can add a "Size" column by selecting "Columns" from the "View" menu.
|
| Horde WebMail Sorting messages by size 1. Click and expand the Mail icon at
the top left.
You should see a another folder named "Mail" further below.
Expand that Mail folder and you should see your moved mailbox.
Your moved messages should now appear in your inbox. |
If you use an email program using the POP (rather than IMAP) protocol you can't access moved mailboxes - only your Inbox. You can use Mulberry, IMP WebMail, or other email program that uses IMAP to access your moved mailbox and copy the messages back to your INBOX.
