Your Internet/Email Account
Common problems
- I don't know my username and/or password.
- ITSS or Library staff can find your username or reset your password. For contact information, see: Reset your password
- My account was closed because I was over my disk quota.
- You will need to delete enough files from your account to get under your disk quota. For details, see: Disk Storage on UMD Systems
- My email INBOX was moved.

- I can't log in to my email.

- Try a different email client (if you normally use Mulberry, try IMP WebMail, or vice-versa).
- Try a different computer, to see if the problem is with your account or with the computer.
- Try logging in to update your Internet account to verify that you're using the correct username and password.
- If you still can't login, contact the ITSS Help Desk (x8847).
- I have been getting tons of spam mail.
- You may wish to set up Mail Filters or SpamAssassin for your account. For details, see: Spam - What it is and how to fight it
