Instructional Design & Development
- Components of Instruction:
Toward a Theoretical Tool for Instructional Design - M. David Merrill.
- Global Campus - is a "collaborative
multimedia database containing a variety of outstanding educational materials
such as images, sounds, text, and video to be used for nonprofit, educational
purposes. The goal of the project is to share resources through technology
by providing a central 'campus' where institutions may make their resources
available on the World Wide Web. We provide easy access to high quality
materials which can be used for instructional development worldwide, while
respecting intellectual property rights."

an Online Course - A step-by-step guide. "Discover how to build an online

- Multimedia at General Biology
- "The General Biology Program at the University of Minnesota has been integrating
multimedia into almost every aspect of its introductory biology curriculum.
To facilitate the use of multimedia in all of its forms, the Program developed
its own multimedia presentation (UPresent) and database (UGather) software.
No software applications of this type existed when our project began. UPresent
has been extensively tested over the years, and has been used for presentations
to over 100,000 students, while UGather has been used to help us manage
a multimedia image library of nearly 5000 items."
- Teaching and Learning on
the World Wide Web: Focus on Instructional Design - Dennis Falk. Seven
point questionnaire.
- The Design Cycle:
What to Expect When Expecting Multimedia - San Diego State University.
