Welcome! You are invited to participate in the Tech Camp for UMD faculty. This camp will lay the groundwork for designing and teaching courses using technological tools that lend themselves to Web-enhanced and hybrid teaching and learning. It will provide faculty participants with enough and varied experience to comfortably bring technology to bear on academic courses they teach. This particular Tech Camp will emphasize both the pedagogical approach and technology tools for Web-enhanced and hybrid course delivery.
Tech Camp will include activities which will enable faculty to:
Tech Camp has space for 20 participants who will begin converting or creating one or more courses for Web-enhanced or hybrid teaching and learning.
Interested faculty must submit an application from which 20 participants will be chosen. Participants will each receive 20 hours of student assistance along with $1000 for:
