UMD Tech Camp Application

  5. If your course will require a change in Instruction Mode (item 3), please note the following deadlines to complete this:
    • Fall semester - changes due by February 1st
    • Summer term - changes due by February 1st
    • Spring semester - changes due by October 1st
  6. Write 3-5 high-level goals for your proposed course. These goals will form the foundation for your course design.
  7. Write 3-5 high-level goals for your participation in Tech Camp. These goals will be used to guide your experience during Tech Camp.
  8. Have you completed an online course either as a teacher or a student? If yes, please describe your experience. If no, why have you not taught or taken an online course?
  9. What online software (e.g., Moodle) have you used?
  10. If you have attended Tech Camp previously, how would you benefit from attending again?
  11. This Tech Camp is designed to be approximately equivalent to a 2 credit course (UMD credit standards). Are you available to fully particpate in Tech Camp from February 11, 2013 to April 28, 2013?
