Since 1998 weve come together each year at TECHFEST to learn how technology has enhanced or changed the way we teach, learn and share information here at UMD. Its time again to plan for this popular annual event!
We invite all faculty, staff, and students to propose an on-going booth demonstration in which you share a successful way you have used technology to help students learn. We are especially interested in fresh, innovative ways technology has reduced or eliminated barriers to learning. This demonstration might showcase a technical presentation, a computer application you created, a time/cost saving method of sharing information, a class project that employs technology, research that employs technology, or an application of technology we havent considered! Dont miss this opportunity to show the UMD community and the publice how you are using technology to enrich the educational experience at UMD.
The UMD community and the public are invited to attend this years one-day event in the Kirby Student Center Ballroom on the UMD campus on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
