Blogger is Google’s free tool for creating blogs. Blogs, short for web-logs, are a form of online journal.

eGradebook is a web-based grade keeping program developed at UMD to help calculate and securely report in-progress grades for your students.
ePortfolio is a secure web site at the University of Minnesota for saving, organizing, viewing, and selectively sharing personal educational records. All UMN faculty, staff, and students have accounts.
Through a partnership with Google, University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff can access a suite of Google-powered communication and collaboration tools designed to enhance our ability to work together. The suite includes email, calendar, document sharing, instant messaging and Web site publishing tools.

Moodle is course management software that enables instructors to create and manage Web-based learning activities and course materials. Students use Moodle to access these materials and participate in learning activities via the Web. Request a Moodle course site.
Need a place to store files or a way to easily exchange files on a project? Need a way to securely access large files from anywhere in the world? Need a way to share files and collaborate with non-university users? Check out NetFiles, the University’s web based secure file storage service.
This is a way to provide audio and video content on the Web without users being able to save the file easily on their machines. Email a request for a streaming audio video account if you do not already have one.

UMSurvey is an academic online survey tool centrally managed by the Office of Information Technology which is available to current students, staff, and faculty at the University of Minnesota.
Any directory in your Web account may be password protected so only your students have access using their individual Internet id and password. Please request this service through the class email list process.
