Access Levels

ITSS offers two access levels to the computer labs, Basic Access and Full Access.

Basic Access

Basic Access computers are available for use by all currently enrolled UMD students, staff, and faculty. Software is limited, generally used for Microsoft Office and web browsing.

Full Access

Full Access computers are only available to students who have paid the $71.75 access fee, which is automatically billed to students who are taking a class in one of the ITSS computer labs.

Students can also purchase Full Access from the UMD Bookstore for $71.75 for the semester, $20 for two weeks, or $6 for the day. Access cards must be brought to the TechCenter in Kirby Plaza 165 to activate your full access.
