Where to Get Help

If your computer fails because of a hardware defect or damage, please bring the unit to the Information Technology Systems and Services (ITSS) maintenance area, located in Kirby Plaza (KPlz) 165.

ITSS staff will evaluate the hardware and provide a written list of repairs and itemized costs. Repairs required due to a system defect, failure or malfunction will be submitted as a warranty claim and are generally not charged to the customer.

Repairs required due to neglect (such as leaving the computer in the freezing cold in an automobile) or damage done during the period of time the computer has been issued to you (see your computer agreement paragraph two) will be charged to your STARS account.
