With no updates or patches, any remaining Windows XP computers become even more vulnerable to malware and hackers.
As previously announced, ITSS has ended technical support for most Windows XP computers effective January 1, 2014. We hope this encourages campus users to upgrade to a newer operating system (OS) or a new computer before the April deadline and the potential for more severe computer vulnerabilities.
If you're not sure whether you can upgrade or should purchase new, ITSS staff can help you make that decision. We may even have used equipment for sale at the TechCenter that will meet your needs.
