Classroom Technology Additions

The Classroom Team has been busy again and completed updates or additions to a number of rooms over the semester break. Here is a list of classrooms that are now equipped with our standard package of technology equipment:

  • BoH 104, 108, 112, 343 & 346
  • LSci 160 & 170
  • SpHC 212
  • Chem 251
  • Cina 308
  • Hum 464 & 490

Standard equipment includes a ceiling mounted projector, VCR/DVD combo player, teaching podium with built-in power and network connections. Some rooms also have a closed caption decoder (the manufacturer of the decoders has gone out of business).

Departments should request keys from Facilities Management for the AV cabinets in rooms where their faculty teach for the semester.

Macintosh and PC laptop computers are available from our Audio Visual area. Call the AV Front Desk at ext. 6222 or use the Classroom On-line Request Form to reserve one.

Documentation for use of equipment in the newly equipped rooms will be available as we get it ready. Documentation for these and all other classrooms with installed technology equipment can be found on the Classroom and Research Technology page.

If you have need for a DVD player in a room equipped with just a VCR, please contact Doug Vandenberg ( or ext. 8151) and request that one be installed.
