TECH CAMP 4 WAS ANOTHER SUCCESS thanks to the ITSS staff and others that worked so hard to bring this useful experience to the campus. This latest Tech Camp ran from May 17 to 25. Twenty-one faculty members participated and the efforts were deemed very positive.

Tech Camp is a forum specifically designed with the instructors of the university in mind. Its goal is to aid the faculty with integration of instructional design and technology tools. Tech Camp helps instructors focus their time and energies when using these new technologies. Whether they want to use programs for presentations, design discussion forums, develop their first web site, use collaborative software, or integrate scanning and graphics technologies, Tech Camp is a wonderful option for the faculty member that seeks some assistance.

Projects for this latest Camp ranged from syllabus and course information, to personal instructor information, to detailed informational sites for topics of interest related to an instructor's research.

Funding for the Tech Camp is generously provided by Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin and Vice Chancellor for Academic Administration Vincent Magnuson as part of the ongoing Technology Initiative on our campus. For more information on Tech Camp, visit the web site at Tech Camp
