Microsoft Campus Agreement Under Development ITSS has been coordinating a campus effort to purchase the Microsoft Campus Agreement for those campus departments that would like to participate. New Versions of Popular Software Now Available on the Office Server The following programs have been made available on the office server for both Mac and PC platforms: Dreamweaver 4, FileMaker Pro 5, Photoshop 6, and Flash 5. Class Email Alias Requests for Summer 2001 Classes Faculty members who would like email aliases for their Summer 2001 classes can now request them via a web page. See --> Summer Email Alias Requests

Email server changes: You may need to make changes, too The UMD email servers were under quite a load the last few weeks of the Spring '01 semester. We plan on upgrading our servers this summer, but to ensure additional reliability we will also soon be making changes in our server configurations that may no longer allow mis-configured email programs to connect to our servers. Follow these instructions to verify that your email program is properly configured. See --> Email Configuration

UMD Offers First Advanced Tech Camp During the week of May 14, fourteen intrepid faculty members put on their technology hats and went to camp. Advanced tech camp was designed for those faculty members who had already attended one of our regular tech camps and were looking for new challenges. For more information, follow the link below.
