Wireless Network Growing at UMD
Wireless networking is off to a great start at UMD, due largely to the exciting iPAQ project in the College of Science and Engineering. See our September 2001 newsletter for more information on this project.

ITSS has now installed wireless access points in eight campus classrooms as well as on the third floor of the Library. More access points are planned in public spaces on campus, and wireless services are available to departments. See the Wireless Networking page for more details.
