Classroom Team Projects and Improvements

The ITSS Classroom Team has been involed in a number of projects that improve or add services to the campus, so we want to spread the word:

  • Classroom scheduling information is now available online and can be viewed at the Room Scheduling home page. This page has links to the ITSS Classroom Team's Resource web pages which list what pieces of hardware are available in that room. When a specific room schedule is pulled up there is also a link to operating instructions for all equipment in the room. A special thanks goes to Travis Mayne of SSS for getting the Resource 25 data into the new scheduling information and available online.
  • More High-Tech classrooms were completed in late August. All of these rooms have a projector, VCR/DVD player, closed captioning decoder and teaching podium:
    • MonH 206 & 208
    • HH 216
    • Engr 118, 177 & 280
    • VKH 221
  • A set of VGA projection cards are now availale for use with an iPAQ pda. The card plugs into the PCMCIA Expansion Pack and allows a user to have their iPAQ connect directly to a projector. These cards are available for checkout at the AV front desk area.
