TestPilot Now Available

ITSS is excited to offer staff and faculty members a useful online assessment and testing tool. Test Pilot allows you to create online assessments and tests with a web browser or on your own computer using an offline editor (offline files must be uploaded to the server to be used). You can have students take online exams, surveys, and evaluations. Practice tests or review exercises can also be made available. Finally, TestPilot can be used to give anonymous surveys.

Many types of questions can be scored automatically by the program. Results can be viewed online or individual scores can be emailed to the instructor for recording. Optional feedback to the student can be tailored by the instructor question by question, or at the end of the test.

Faculty who are interested in using this program should contact either Barb Johnson ( or ext. 6862) or Bruce Reeves ( or ext. 6831). Faculty members can request the program from the Class Alias Request page.

Staff members who are interested in TestPilot should contact Andy Manteuffel ( or ext. 6927).
