Policies On The Web

Network Upgrade Information
During the summer ITSS network staff have been busy working on several projects to improve the campus backbone and our access to the Internet. What follows is a short list of major improvements made during the summer.
Central Systems Update
Central systems staff were busy this summer upgrading, patching, and replacing the various systems that make central services (such as email and web) reliable.
ITSS Help Desk Expanded Hours
The hours of operation for the ITSS Help Desk have been changed to include evening and weekend hours.
Changes in ITSS Computer Labs for Fall 2002
There have been some changes and improvements to the computer labs on campus. For a summary of these changes follow the link above.
Wireless Access Update
The wireless network on campus continues to grow as applications for this technology are found. A detailed map and listing of all wireless connections on campus can be found from the link above. is currently sent via email to all users subscribed to the infotech.announce and email lists. The goal of this digest is to distribute information that is useful to the daily routines of our campus community members in conjunction with computer and telephone technologies.
